Gotta love technology

I got this little funny from Dave, our VP of Sales.

Our telephone automated attendant has voice-to-text translation when it emails our voice messages to us. Here’s one Dave received:

Yeah David is washing a car with Beckel.

and the actual voice message was:

Yeah David. This is Washington Carr with Bechtel.

Having problems with the date on your batch scanner?

Is the date on your batch scanner resetting to January 1, 2003 or 2005 when you do a cold boot? There are a couple of solutions to this. The obvious one is avoid doing a cold boot on your Dolphin. The better solution is to put your Dolphin in the cradle after the cold boot and sync it. However, do not sync it as a guest, use the Synchronization Setup Wizard.

Click Finish to exit wizard

Now, whenever you put the scanner in the cradle the date will be automatically updated to your computer’s date.

P.S. This is not an issue with wireless scanners in ToolHound Onsite or ToolHound Desktop as the date is automatically updated.
